Kalasha Pooja Mantra-2

Step 2:

Drop soil and barley on the place of Kalasha and read the following Mantra

Om Dhanyamasi Dhinuhi Devan Pranayatvodanaya Tva Vyanaya Tva।
Dirghamanu-Prasitimayushe Dyam Devo Vah Savita Hiranya-Panih।
Prati-Gribhnatvachchhidrena Panina Chakshushe Tva Mahinam Payoasi।

Lift the Kalasha gently and put it on the same place and read the following Mantra –

Om Aa Jighra Kalasham Mahya Tva Vishantivandavah।
Punarurjja Nivartasva Sa Nah Sahasram Dhukshvoru-Dhara Payaswati Punarma Vishatad Rayih॥

Leave water in the Kalasha and read the following Mantra –

Om Varunasyottambhanamasi Varunasya Skambha-Sarjjanistho।

Offer leaves of mango tree, banyan tree, Peepal or fig tree to Kalasha and read the following Mnatra –

Step 13:

Offer Kusha grass to Kalasha and read the following Mantra

Keep the pot full of barley or rice on Kalasha and read the following Mantra

Install Varun Deva while offering Akshat and read the following Mantra –

Om Mano Jutirjushatamajyasya Brihaspatiryagyamimam,

Vishve-Deva Sa Iha Madayantam Om Pratishtha॥

Avahana Mantra

One should chant the following Mantra to invoke Varun Deva by showing Avahan Mudra (Avahan Mudra is formed by joining both palms and folding both thumbs inwards).

Om Bhurbhuvah Svah Varuna! Ihagachchha, Iha Tishtha, Mama Pujam Grihana।
